Separate speaker webcam recording?

Hello!

Is there a way I can get a separate recording of just speakers' webcams from my webinars?

We want to be able to do some cutdowns that better feature the speakers in our webinars. As in we may have them be full screen in the cutdown and then minimize them a bit when we want to show the visuals we had on the slides. The webcams on the left side aren't ideal for this scenario.

Is there a way to do this?

Re: Separate speaker webcam recording?

Hi @webinarsctct, welcome to the community.

GoToWebinar (Cloud) recordings will always show the shared webcams on the side when a screen is also shared at the same time. For now, it is not possible to break out the webcams in the finished recording. One workaround would be to record the webcams on a panelist's or co-organizer's screen using a screen recorder like Camtasia or something similar to capture the webcam feed. Then you could edit sections of just the webcams into the recording.
