Both are using Standard QWERTY Keyboard Layouts GoTo Desktop Version is 10.10.1.113 Keyboard Layout settings is Local There is nothing to Log when this happens. There are no errors. It is like whenever I press the shift key is presses and hold the key for me and when I go to type the@ symbol in my admin password it eats the input. so instead of the password typing like Password@1in this case it would type Password1 like I never hit the@ symbol at all. Also if i try and do a Keyboard shortcut like WIN+R it does not register the R input and both my start menu and theirs opens. However I have gone in to test this again today and it is now not doing it. The keys are not showing up on the screen when press SHIFT or WIN and it allows me to control the computer like normal. Be able to block Client Input during Unattended Access There really needs to be an option to block client input during Unattended Access. We have over 400 clients installed and there are numerous times in a day when we are responding to a ticket and cannot work because the client refuses to stop moving their mouse or typing. I will let someone know that I need to log in and check the machine, either by call or teams, and then when I log in they will just continue moving the mouse through the screen or will not stop talking for me to fix their issue. I literally had one person agree to me logging in and then continued to type an email for 10 minutes before I could even tell them to stop. I know this is an option in other programs such as Screen Connect which we used before switching to GoTo. I know we can blank their screens but often times I need them to be able to see their screen and show me the issue, but they need not to be able to control the mouse cause they repeatedly will take over just because I am not there. Also the number of times someone will just end the session because "oh popup, better close" is more often than I can count. Control button Overlay when logged into a Machine I need help. Idk why these buttons have sporadically popped up when I am remoting into machines but they make it extremely hard to control a computer. I cant type in my admin password unless I deliberately hit shift, release shift and then type the character. if i try to Win+R or Win+E not only does it come up on the screen I am controlling but it is also popping up on my machine so the command doesnt open the run command or the explorer. It's like the buttons are working on both my machine and theirs and I cannot deal with that. With security requirements nowadays I have to type my password into a remote machine minimum 3 times per remote session. It went away for a little while for some reason but its like my program updated yesterday and I had to resetup dark mode and my ticket list and now this is happening. Any info on how to remove this from my remote sessions would be amazing. Re: mobile device mouse functionalityUsing my Pixel Fold has been interesting for remote. First thing I changed was the mouse mode. In settings I go to mouse mode and I use the Mouse Moves option. The screen moving option was too much for my eyes and I don't understand the Direct setting. In this mode I can move my mouse using the whole screen as the touch pad and I can click by tapping on the screen. If I need to right click on something I hold with one thumb and then tap with the other and it uses the right click. Double clicking is just double tapping. For your display issue, while I use the Mouse Moves mode, my screen moves in accordance to where my mouse is and if I want to get back to the other side I just move the mouse cursor over there and it does it automatically so if I am zoomed into a screen as I move the mouse it never goes off screen. Hope this is somewhat helpful. Re: GoTo Resolve Mobile Agent, Crashing while trying to remote Pixel Fold Yes it does appear to be working now thank you so much! GoTo Resolve Mobile Agent, Crashing while trying to remote Pixel Fold So I have just switched my phone from a Galaxy S21 Ultra to a Google Pixel Fold. I wanted more screen realestate for while I am working around town and not wanting to pull my laptop out if I do not want to. I downloaded the GoTo Resolve Agent to this phone like I did on my S21, I logged into the app and attempted to remote into my desktop to test it. On the front smaller screen the remote worked for a bit but it was tiny cause its a smaller screen. If I do this with the phone opened to the tablet size screen I can log in, I can go anywhere else in the app, but if I initiate a remote control the app crashes back to home screen leaving the desktop with a running session so I cannot even attempt to remote into the computer again until I clear it from my desktop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have cleared data from the app, I have even tried running the app in the 3 different screen sizes that the phone provides but it crashes every time I initiate a remote session from the inside screen of my phone. For reference the screen sizes are, Default (provided by app), full screen, and half screen. I do not know why the front screen started crashing but I have changed everything to default and it is still not back to working. I was able to do this all the time on my S21 on the same machines so I am at a loss and would love some insight from others Solved
