Allow Grasshopper to be the default Calling and Messaging app in iOS and macOS
Please update the Grasshopper apps for iOS and macOS to allow them to be set as the default calling and/or messaging app (app used to open tel: and sms: URLs). In iOS, the default calling and messaging apps are configured in Settings > Apps > Default Apps but Grasshopper is not shown as an option. In macOS, the default calling app is configured in FaceTime > Settings… > General > Default for calls, but Grasshopper is not shown as an option. There is not yet a location in macOS to set the default messaging app, but you can use third-party apps such as SwiftDefaultApps to configure which app is used to open sms: URLs. Please add the Ai symbol in the call history under each call 📞 so you can view the Ai Call Summaries and Transcripts built in right into the logs on your phone.. Instead of having to log into the desktop app and find analytics and then go to call logs and search for what you want.. That's kind of backwards GoTo... Please implement the Ai right into the phone logs under each call like Zoom and Dialpad..Text Message Templates
I’d love to see GoTo Connect add a feature that allows users to create and save SMS text templates for frequently used messages. This would save time and improve efficiency by eliminating the need to retype common responses (e.g., “What are your store hours?” or “Here is our website”). Ooma Office had this feature, and it was extremely convenient. Adding SMS templates to GoTo Connect would make it even more user-friendly and valuable for businesses that communicate frequently via text.14Views0likes2CommentsShow name of who responded to shared texts vs just number
When messages to a shared number are responded to each user only sees that the number (or themselves) is who responded to the text. Makes it tricky to try and figure out who picked up the conversation. EX. when viewing out going messages it would show time sent and user that sent message.26Views2likes2CommentsCall Pickup Group
Most, if not all, phone systems, cloud or on-prem, have the ability to setup Call Pickup Groups. Adding this feature would make it a whole lot easier for users to pickup calls by not having to work out which phone is ringing, they simply dial the * code to pickup calls for anyone in the same Call Pickup Group. The other option to pickup calls is, if users could see which users phones were ringing in their Contacts in the Quick Dial list, sidecar view, and then either right mouse click or select the 3 dots (more options) and pickup calls that way. Users often want to free up desktop real estate, so rather than have the GoTo app open they unpin the dial pad with sidecar for quick access to common contacts. Are there any plans for implementation of Call Pickup Groups in the near future?11Views0likes0CommentsMissed calls - Show call source
Can we please add the source of a missed call into the call info panel in the phone window (direct vs queue). When a queue call comes in, it shows the name of the queue in the dial window, but it does not show the name of the queue in the missed calls window. Currently there is no way of differentiating a missed direct call from an external number (either direct to the agents number, or via extension dialling in a dial plan) and a missed queue call. Agents are having missed queue calls when they are unable to answer, then do not know if they should be returning a missed call that might have been completed by another agent in the queue.20Views0likes3Comments
