Daily Schedule for Do Not Disturb
The GoTo app for my work number is on my phone, and I'd like to be able to set automatic working hours - I should be able to set my preferred hours for Do Not Disturb (like only during my non-working hours). And then I'd like for it to turn off when I'm in the office every day. It's one less thing to forget about until I get voicemails and missed calls every day.481Views10likes3CommentsDifferent Ringtone for Mobile App
I would like separate ring tones for the following: An incoming call on the main number that is ringing my phone because I am logged into the system to help back up incoming calls An incoming call on my Direct Incoming Dial number - when a client is dialing me directly and not using the main number a call being transferred from another person on our GoTo Connect system. (i.e. someone answers the main number and wants to transfer me the call. If you think this would be helpful to you please vote for the idea and lets get this moving forward.Call Park On Mobile App Icon
Many users that work in offices are not at their desks so it would be nice if you could assign a call park/call park retrieve icon in the app. This is a feature that RingCentral and several other hosted providers have on their mobile apps. I know you can dial a code but dialing *37+the park location is very cumbersome.1KViews3likes6CommentsVoicemail Notification on mobile app
Is there a way to make your phone make a noise when a voicemail if left like when you get an email? I have all my notifications turned on for the GoTo app and there is no noise that plays to let you know that a voicemail was left. It would be great to differentiate between "Silent this device" for receiving calls but still being able to receive a sound notification when a voicemail is left if you want to monitor a voicemail box. I know we can turn on voicemail to email but sometimes there is a delay between when the message was left and when the email hits their voicemail box depending on their email settings and filters.995Views3likes4CommentsDesktop and Mobile Application presence or awareness status
Have the Desktop and Mobile applications report presence or awareness status When the users are logged in on their desktop or mobile applications, report on the PBX that the "device" is online. When the users are logged in on their desktop or mobile applications and are on the phone using their extension, report to the system their presence for accurate speeddial with presence identification. As a business partner we deal with a number of different size clients and many clients that have softphone only extensions. When setting up the softphone only users, the PBX defines a device for the user. The issue comes up when: 1) the customer sees these extensions as offline/unavailable lines in the PBX 2) the physical phones or side cars that are setup with all users that have an extension on the system. They are defined as "SpeedDial with Presence"; however, because these are softphones, they do not report to the users when the individuals are actually available or when they are on their phones.1.1KViews3likes2CommentsAdd the option to specify who appears in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory.
I wanted to address some necessary improvements for the GoTo Connect directory. Our users rely on the apps and not on dialing by name or number. The directory needs to be more customizable, allowing us to specify who should appear in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory. We require a more detailed way to manage directory entries and search functionalities, both within the app and by name. Our phone system includes many extensions named for internal management purposes, which might not be intuitive for external callers or staff who are familiar with different naming conventions. This issue has been present for some time, and I have noticed other posts discussing similar shortcomings of the directory. As a workaround, we have been using shared contacts, but these do not automatically update when extensions change. Thank you for considering this matter. Enhancing the regular phone system would greatly improve the experience for your customers.31Views2likes1CommentSearch Engine on Texting
It would be wonderful to have a Search Engine on the texting app. We find that we have to type in the entire customer cell number and hit a period in order to just pull up a previous text, so we can review information. We need to be able to search without having to bump the messages. That way we don't have to bother the customer.30Views2likes2CommentsIphone app ability to text under Contacts
Desktop app, under Contracts you have the ability to call or text your contract (and it shows the call and text icons). On the iphone app, under Contracts you only have the ability to Call (and call icon) but no ability to text (no text icon) available. I text my clients daily and really need that function on my iphone app.2KViews2likes2Comments
