Adding Webinar Event to Outlook Calendar
Our customers are complaining about how GoTo Webinar manages adding the event to their outlook calendars. When an attendee registers for a webinar, they are prompted to "Add Invite to Calendar" 2. When you click add to Calendar: 3. Attendee clicks Open to save invite to their Outlook Calendar. 4. This is confusing and no other software that I'm aware forces a User to selected "Required" "Send Update". Most software invites autopopulate the User name and they only thing you do is simply select "Accept". This is annoying to users and does not work like most "add to calendar" features.50Views0likes2CommentsAdd engagement scores to objects returned by one of the GoTo Webinar API endpoints
Hello, We leverage the GoTo Webinar API to run a lot of processes that rely on webinar attendance and interactions. We also would love to start using the engagement scores that are currently downloadable via the dashboard. We would love for these scores to be available via any of the endpoints of the Session Attendees API. It would be nice if the engagement score was available as an attribute of an attendee whenever we query the session attendees endpoint. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or some some clarification as to our use case for this attribute. Best, Abdou8Views0likes0CommentsEditing Custom Registration Multi Answers
Today I needed to edit the answers offered on a Custom Registration Question. When you attempt to edit your answers and hit SAVE, you answers will now be jumbled, not in the order in which you entered them in. I also would like to be able to re-order the answers if need be, like you can re-order your custom questions by dragging. If you need to do either of these, you have to delete your entire question and start new. This is not productive way to work. I had to delete a custom questions with 13 possible answer choices for 11 scheduled webinars. Please fix this.11Views0likes1CommentLanguage Localization for Webinar Registration Pages Based on Webinar Tagging
Hi, This is more of a feature request than an idea but here goes. We present webinars in English and French (we are out of Quebec, Canada). My suggestion is that any page that is attendee facing and for which the webinar is tagged in a certain language, such as french), all parts of that page should be in the language the individual webinar is tagged. For a webinar tagged in French, the page should be in French. For example, the registration page has a disclaimer at the bottom that reads: By checking this box, you submit your information to the webinar organizer, who will use it to communicate with you regarding this event and their other services. even if the people registering are registering for a French webinar. Support told me that these are automated pages and they can't be changed at this point because we ticked a box on our profile that indicates English as the main language. That is a problem for us as we still deliver webinars in English and in French and the pages that are customer facing should be the the language that the webinar is tagged at. In any case, if there is a way to fix this, we would appreciate it. If you need more info, please contact me. Thanks.29Views0likes4CommentsGender inquiry when registering for a webinar
Hello, it would be very good if I could ask for the gender directly when registering people, and right at the beginning when the surname and first name have to be entered. This would make it easier to follow up, as you could then automatically address the registered person with the correct gender (which becomes more and more important in Germany). The option of doing this via a custom question at the end of the registration process is not very useful, as it is spatially separated from the surname/first name. Please consider incorporating this into your registration form. Thank you very much! Best regards Erhard Krampe337Views1like2CommentsEmbed GoToWebinar Registration Forms
Please add the ability to embed GoToWebinar's registration forms onto websites. I want to add a webinar's registration form onto our website so that all of our marketing materials point users to our website (not an independent registration form that is separate from our website). A huge component of doing webinars is either for marketing or client retention purposes - so, businesses want to drive users to their own website to further promote the product/service. Having the ability to embed the registration directly onto the business website would be a natural offering. Further to this extent, being able to toggle on/off different components of the registration form (like the title and promo text, logo, etc) would be helpful depending on what information/layouts businesses already have on their pages to promote the webinar would be even more helpful, essentially allowing it just to be the form part of the registration, allowing businesses to brand and market the webinar using their own layout and formatting. Thank you for your consideration!183Views3likes1CommentRe-open Past Training - Allow Open Training Time Slots
I'd like to be able to re-open a recent training session to add additional time slots to it. With much of the training I do, not every training date for a given client is known in advance. Unfortunately, once the training is "in the past" (even by 5 minutes), I can seemingly no longer modify it. Anyone know if this is possible? I wish that I was able to schedule the start and end dates separately from actual sessions - so I could have an 'open' training that I could add times to. I suppose I'd have to set some fictitious training as the last session in order to establish that window? One of the biggest reasons I use this tool is the custom scheduling option - it's so nice to set up non-standard recurring windows and have them populated to the attendee's calendar once registered. But in my current predicament, I've just used an entirely different product b/c I don't want the attendees to have to copy a past training and have everyone re-register, etc.192Views0likes1CommentConfirm Registrant's Email address during the registration process
When our clients try to register for our Webinar, many times they type in a bad email address. When they do this, we do not know that they never received an approval or denial of the registration process. A confirmation field to retype their email address would be useful. Thank you, Michael Kwart400Views0likes2CommentsGoToStage should allow paid registration
Apparently after over a month trying to figure out what was wrong, I’ve been told by support that a paid registration is only available for live or recorded events but that the recorded event cannot be on GoToStage even though when setting up a recorded webinar the option to use GoToStage exists. Unfortunately the registration process will fail once it tries to access payments. Unfortunately that means you can’t provide one link for attendees to browse your offerings, you have to provide them separate links for each recorded webinar.1.3KViews0likes3CommentsApprove/Deny Registration on GoToStage
I think it would be a really good idea to have the same approve/deny controls over who registers to watch videos on a Private GoToStage channel that we have over who can attend the live webinar itself. As it stands, the "private" channel really isn't all that private, as anyone could just share the link with whoever they want and then anyone can register. If a competitor got ahold of the link from maybe a potential customer who is weighing their options, there's nothing stopping them from just registering and watching the video and taking confidential information. We'd like to ideally be able to share the link rather openly and loudly to increase visibility but then screen the registrants so that we can control who actually views the content. This lack of control over who can access the "private" channel kind of renders the whole concept useless, no? Unless I am misunderstanding some aspect that would give me greater control over who can and cannot see the videos.3.1KViews1like7Comments
