Resolved: Can't end test or share results after launching a test with GoTo Training

If I'm sharing my screen or sharing an app like PowerPoint while conducting a training, if I launch a test, I can't end the test or share results.  the dialogue box below appears.  The participants can take the test, see their results, but I can't continue.  If I'm not sharing my screen or sharing an app, I can launch the test with no problems.  However, this makes it very time consuming to share, un-share each time I want to launch a test.

 

 

  • kjeezy our team has fixed the issue and should now be able to see polls and test using flexible layout without the notification. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

    Hi kjeezy welcome to the GoTo Community.  This notification is an indication that the window is too small to show everything. Can you try expanding the window to full screen and see if it still happens?

      Hi Kate,

      Thanks for your input.  I gave your suggestion a try, I toggled on full screen, hid everyone, but had the same outcome.  The only "work around" is to un-share my screen, launch the test, then start sharing my screen again.  This is not really a sustainable solution, my training is too long to keep jumping back and forth.

        kjeezy Sorry this didn't help.  I'm not able to replicate on my PC. Can you please share a bit more about the setup so we can try to replicate?

        • Are you on a mac or PC?
        • What OS are you using?
        • What is the screen resolution? 
        • Does this happen when you try to share anything (file, video, app)?
