@Gloryon it depends on your chat settings for the individual message.
If this doesn't help, can you provide more details about what is happening? Are they trying to type to everyone and it doesn't appear? Can they see the text? Are they attendees or presenters or both? How many people is this happening to? Does it happen regularly, or just once? Any other details that may help.
Based on the details provided I would have to assume that the chat messages that are not being seen by everyone were sent only to the organizers or privately to another meeting attendee. At the start of the next meeting, I would instruct the attendees to make sure they select the Everyone option at the bottom of the chat before sending.
GlennD, You are a little wrong, the problem is that the person does not see the general chat at all...it's like something broke in the code and it just doesn't display the messages.
@Gloryon thanks for the screenshot. I'm not sure what's going on here, and would like to see if I can reproduce it. Could you provide a few more details? How many people is this happening to during a session? Does it happen on every session? What type of device are they using?

I have a coworker that cannot see the chats that all the rest of us can see.

I don't believe an issue was identified and yours is the only other report I am aware of. Do you know if the meetings are being held using Classic GoToMeeting (orange daisy icon), or the new GoTo App? Does this coworker join any other meetings and if so, do they have the same issue there?
