Re: how many people in a gotowebinar session can share their camera at the same time

If the maximum is 6, then why is it advertised as 25?GoToWebinar Cameras.png

I think that means you can have 25 people included as Panelists and Organizers, and only the Panelists and Organizers can share their webcam.  The max to share at one time is 6. I agree this text on the marking page is misleading and should be addressed.

Additionally, you can have up to 25 people talking at the same time (mics unmuted).

@J_Davis_Cdale  That website info specifically references GoToMeeting services, which currently allow for up to 25 webcams at one time.  It should only pop up when you hover/click on the GoToMeeting icon.

Re: how many people in a gotowebinar session can share their camera at the same time

Refering to this web page:

https://www.gotomeeting.com/webinar/pricingb

You are correct that if you hover over the GoToMeeting link it shows 25 webcams, however there is nothing else on that page that tells you how many webcams you can have in GoToWebinar.  The assumption is that everything in GoToMeeting is available in GoToWebinar plus certain other features that are listed on that page.  Can another bullet be added to each plan to explain the number of webcams?

Re: how many people in a gotowebinar session can share their camera at the same time

GlennD,

Are there any plans to increase the amount of webcams in a webinar at a time?  While working with the free trail I did notice the 6 webcam limitation and thought that it was due to it being a free trial.  As a result of the discovery I did call and speak to a sales person regarding the limitation and was unfortunately misled on what the actual number was for webinars.  It would seem that LogMeIn would want to compete with their competitors in this aspect, since Zoom does allow for up to 100 panelists to show webcams at the same time.

Any input you may have would be great.

Thanks,

Tracy

@TBeekman  There are plans to increase the GoToWebinar webcam allowance, though we don't have an ETA for that development yet.

GoToWebinar - Questions

Hey Community,

I am new to GoToWebinar and have a couple of questions that has come up from using the product recently.

  1. Is there are a license or configuration that will allow for more than 6 participants to concurrently share video at any give time?
  2. Is there a way to configure the webinar so that only the organizer can see the feedback being asked, or can we configure the Webinar so that participants can only “chat” with the organizer and not to everyone?

Re: GoToWebinar - Questions

Six is the maximum number of webcams at one time.

In GoTo Webinar, any text entered in the Question panel by the Attendees is seen only by the Organizer.
