What does N (Number of inputs) mean in a GoToWebinar?

I'm relatively new to GoToWebinar.  In looking at the Interest Rating I notice the equation for this is (R+P+Q+(N-1)(A)+S+L)/2N-2 .... The explanation of this gives a breakdown of all of these letters but for N it just says "Number of inputs."  Can anyone explain to me what Number of inputs calculates?

Re: What does N (Number of inputs) mean in a GoToWebinar?

Hi Joe,

I believe the number of Inputs (6) is referring to R, P, Q, A, S, L. They are the Inputs for the formula and there are 6 of them.

Thanks, Glenn!  I initially thought that was the case then talked myself out of it so figured I'd ask.

Thanks!
