I called GoTo Tech Support and we did a renactment with a test event and they concluded the same and said to report it on this Community page so it would be considered by the web programmers to investigate and improve. Re: Show Canceled Webinars in Analytics I had the foresight to download and saved a copy of the original Registration list in advance of proceeding to the cancel webinar function or else I'd lose the data, as you pointed out. Re: GoToWebinar Mobile App Version This function should not have been removed for the customers using a Classic experience as you continue to iron out your bugs and fixes in the new platform. GoToWebinar Mobile App Version I'm no longer able to able to manage the mobile app version of GoToWebinar Dashboard using the new GoTo app even though your system continues to push me an alert to install the new GoTo app (which I've installed and reinstalled over 15 times) to try to get to my GoToWebinar Dashboard view. You removed it from Customers as of this week (June 17, 2024). It not only serves a mobile-friendly purpose to set up campaigns on-the-go, but also gives me a quick data view of the registration figures without having to log into the desktop version. As well, when my screen is in Presenter clean screen mode and I can't use the GTW desktop platform so that I don't disrupt the presentation, I tend to look at my mobile phone app to view in-progress, grab links, work on other campaigns, etc. Please bring back the ability to have a mobile app version. GoTo is becoming less desirable with some of these changes that you're making without thinking of the user/customer's day-to-day functions. Stop thinking like an I.T. person! I contacted Tech Support and they told me that going forward I will need to use the desktop version which is not satisfactory: "Notified that the GoTo app does not allows you to manage the webinar mobile. However, access is available through dashboard.gotowebinar.com" SolvedShow Canceled Webinars in Analytics I went to cancel a webinar and inserted my new copy message. However, I wanted to save and preview. What occurred was the system automatically Cancelled the webinar and didn't send a message to registrants. Now, I can't return to a saved copy to make edits or the fact that an email that wasn't entirely ready to deploy actually deployed (or maybe it didn't deploy??) to the registrants. I went to the Past Events tab, and the original webinar set-up/schedule that was cancelled doesn't appear anywhere. No trace. No way to recover. Probably no deployment. It would be a great idea to keep record of webinars that have been set-up, cancelled, and saved. Allow the user to delete or keep for tracking purposes. I really needed to repurpose and reschedule this webinar. Now, your system has removed it completely! Re: Can't mute another organizer? Hi, I'd like to know when you will have the Admin/Organizer function implemented where we can mute or unmute a panelist, presenter, co-organizer? I had an instance a few days ago where I didn't know whether my presenter muted herself because she needed to drink water or cough. So, I waited less than a minute until I realized she started to move slides but the audience and panelists couldn't hear her. She was unaware that she placed her microphone on mute. I couldn't unmute her. I had to interject to ask her to unmute herself. How awkward for our business and now we don't have a flawless recording with missed content to offer our clients. Which brings me to the awful video editor. When will you offer a better video editor where I can enter the start/end times of where I want to trim to the millisecond without using a mediocre bar range that doesn't result in accuracy? Re: New look and feel of Emails sent from GoTo Webinar Hi Karin, 1. Only the Customer-Facing email confirmation was fixed with for the masthead logo and font colours for the hyperlinks. 2. The Internal-Panelists facing email confirmation was partially fixed for the masthead logo, however, what still deploys is the hyperlinks in a mix of green and blue fonts. That was not fixed. Re: New look and feel of Emails sent from GoTo Webinar #FAILURE - GoTo web developers have made the biggest error in launching the new interface and design output for the branding section of the GoToWebinar platform webcast settings. What used to be a custom feature and asset to have your company logo uploaded and framing the email and embedded text copy/hyperlinks closely matching to your company's brand colours are no longer available. What appears is a displaced company logo with a white background (even though logo uploaded had a transparent bg) positioned within a bigger grey frame and looks like a 6 year old cut & paste it into the frame, and then you have green embedded hyperlink/text, and one single blue hyperlink. When those were traditionally blue which luckily aligned with our brand colours, but blue is also quite universal for the online world. You've now caused brand identity issues and reputational damage to every GoTo customer's associate/client's experiences. Does the GoTo CEO like to see his company's logo distorted and his colours changed on his brand materials and in the marketplace?? Please fix the issue that you created. You may lose a lot of customers from this casualty. All of your competitors allow their clients to customize their tool so that it aligns with their external facing brand. As well, it would be nice to be notified of such changes rather than be surprised. Your customers deserve an email when you make critical changes as you do with maintenance updates. Thank you.
