Need to have auto reply for text messages
Similar to emails, Gotoconnect needs the ability to have a customized automatic responder to people who send text messages. For example, if "John Doe" sends a text message to a Gotoconnect phone number, the recipient (i.e., such as me) should have the ability to create an automatic customized text message, particularly if the recipient will be away from the office for a certain period of time. Right now, on the Gotoconnect mobile app, there is a text autorespond feature for only incoming phone calls. Desktop app, under Contracts you have the ability to call or text your contract (and it shows the call and text icons). On the iphone app, under Contracts you only have the ability to Call (and call icon) but no ability to text (no text icon) available. It would be great if there was a node available in the dial-plan editor to send a preformatted text message to the caller. This has many use cases, such as in the auto-attendant for the caller to receive a text with the URL for an online order menu, a website, a location, etc... I know we can do this using the HTTP Notify node. But this requires integrating with a 3rd SMS provider. Hello! Am I missing something that voicemails left on any line are not recorded? So once the call goes to VM there is NO recording just doesn't show anything on the call reports? Like the caller never left any VM? This is me testing and leaving a 2 minute VM, that was received, yet no recording of it in the reports? I really do believe this to be an oversight, how do we go about reporting this ? Its not an enhancement, it should have always been there so I'm not sure how to go about this, maybe its a bug? How do I label a chat with multiple members and add it to my favorites? Just like when you create a chat with a single person you are able to hit the star on the top right corner so that you can place it on the favorites also the chat takes the name of the person on your contact list. Well if I want to create a group text I would like to add it to the favorites list just like I am able to do it with a single person, and also have some way to label the chat the same way a single person chat is able to adopt the name of the person being text or for me to call it anything to reference the chat and the people in it ( HLA Members) or whatever else. We have 6 techs that use our business line to communicate with customers. I would like to see the option for a short 'signature' so when they respond we can tell what individual responded to our clients. Currently, it just appears as if each tech has sent all messages ...when looking from their sessions.
