The LOG files from this folder ("LogMeIn Remote Support Unattended") had grown unnoticed until they consumed greater than a third of our drive capacity.
GoToAssist support said this was "version 5 failing to update." The irony is that we are IT professionals and use v4.8 for our needs. While we might have attempted using v5 in the past, it certainly was removed.
To date, we have Add/Removed the following: "GoToAssist Customer 4.8.0.1692," "GoToAssist Expert 4.8.0.1692," and "GoTo Opener 1.0.539." Still unable to remove/rename the above folder we then used msconfig to stop ALL services relating to GoToAssist, more specifically "LMIRemoteSupport_LN9dJboWZd."
Currently without a solution and LOG files growing, a total of 203k+ files, 203+ GB

FreedomSolution I double checked the rollout plan for 5.7, and it looks like we should be at 100% by next week. I'm sorry for the confusion, it should not have been posted on the support site so early.

Still seeing the same issue at the latest version available for download from our portal is the 5.6 version. Is there a way for us to have the 5.7 version released to us?

I still have issues with computers going dark on the console. I think it is time to look for another solution. I have clients that I have reinstalled many times only to have the fall off again. This has been going on way too long and I need a stable solution.

The exe and MSI for unattended installer is still showing 5.6.0.1373
Just tried the download from the site and from the gotoassist desktop application.

5.6.0.1373.
We have a small amount of users on the newer 5.7 release. Most are on 5.6.0.1373.
I went ahead and updated my client to the latest one.
Another issue I noticed was that my machine was showing 2 installs
I went ahead and removed both of them and installed the latest. I have seen this before on other machines as well.

FreedomSolution Are you able to check for updates on one of the affected machines? They should be available for Windows (v. 5.7.0.1541) and Mac (v. 5.7.0.1680).

We are seeing this across our entire fleet 600+ laptops.
Hovering over the icons makes most of them vanish. it appears that Logmein unattended support is crashing multiple times and restarting.
For the user who first reported this, are you using Intune/Endpoint to push the unattended package?
