GotoAssist v5 - Working with stored credentials
Hi!
v4 lets me choose to login using the saved credentials or not. In v5 theres no way to choose, right?
https://help.gotoassist.com/remote-support/help/storing-unattended-credentials-windows-only
"The credentials are saved. Any agent connecting to the device will be logged in using the saved credentials."
Sometimes the stored credentials are applied, and sometimes not.
Where's the feature gone?

Sometimes this appears in v5. Why not always?

Moving forward GoTo Resolve is the future, it incorporates the best parts of GTARS v5 and improves upon it. We recently published the roadmap for GoTo Resolve here.

Hi!
Unfortunately, some really nice features in v4 are not available in v5. Is there a roadmap of implementations planned for v5?

Hi Woly,
Unfortunately, the GTARS v5 implementation works a little differently to v4 and there isn't an option to apply stored credentials once you log out.

After connecting to a Win10 oder Win11 pc, the stored credentials are applies automatically. That seems to work fine. After logoff from that machine sometimes I have to login again. But theres no button to apply stored credentials manually?!
After connecting to a Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019, the stored credentials are not applied. And theres no button to apply stored credentials manually?!

Hi Woly, welcome to the GoTo Community,
As mentioned in this post, stored credentials are currently compatible with Windows OS and can be updated through the Unattended endpoint when running in the task bar.If this isn't working can you share what's going on when sometimes they are applied, sometimes they aren't? Is there anything different going on when they aren't being saved?
