which dial plan is in use
I'm a newbie and have inherited a my.jive.com PBX.
I've been asked to route calls so they go to RON, then if not answered KARI, then if not answered KATHIE.
They currently have 6 dial plans listed.
I assume I can change this in the dial plan but how do I know which one is being used?
- 1 phone number can only route to 1 dial plan at a time.
- Multiple numbers can be routed to the same dial plan
- You can add a menu to a dial plan that points to other dial plans, so when the caller hears the options and picks one from the menu they are routed to a different dial plan with it's own options.
I would recommend calling our toll-free support when you have time so they can review your current dial plans with you one on one.

Thanks for that.
When one dials in, it routes the call according to a dial plan.
There 6 dial plans in play.

Hi shawnsbrain66, welcome to the community.
You can have multiple dial plans, but only the ones that have a number directed to them are active. These support articles will help get you started:
- What do the dial plan nodes do? You will want to scroll down to the PBX Administration (classic) section.
