GoToOpener.exe fails to install in my Windows10-64bit - Error 12029

When i try to install GoToOpener,  the installation process says :

"Connecting to GoToWebinar"

Then it brings up a pop-up window saying :

"Error 12029 sending request to server builds.getgocdn.com

A connection with the server could not be established.

Failed to download GoToWebinar to our servers.

Please restart the download or contact Global customer support at http://link.logmeininc.com/get-help "

I used to have GoToOpener installed but i removed it at some point. Now i'm trying to intalle it back in.

    Hello Kate,

Thank you very much for your response.

    - I've verified that i have enabled TLS 1.2

    - I've ruled out GoTo Webinar app (done all 4 steps) and i still receive the error message.

So i continue to the next steps :

    - I see no point on resetting my Chrome browser, because GoTo webinar used to work well from it until i uninstalled it at some point. I also get the same error when i try the whole procedure via Firefox or Edge, so it seems that isn't browser-related issue. Nevertheless, i finally did reset my browser  but nothing changed.

    - Finally, i uninstalled my Bitdefender antivirus and i also disabled Windows Defender firewall and antivirus. But again, nothing changed.

Something more : i plugged my Laptop above our company firewall(right on the ISP modem router), just to make sure that i'm not affected by any special firewall rule. Nothing changed.
