Search Engine on Texting
It would be wonderful to have a Search Engine on the texting app. We find that we have to type in the entire customer cell number and hit a period in order to just pull up a previous text, so we can review information. We need to be able to search without having to bump the messages. That way we don't have to bother the customer.
Need to have auto reply for text messages
Similar to emails, Gotoconnect needs the ability to have a customized automatic responder to people who send text messages. For example, if "John Doe" sends a text message to a Gotoconnect phone number, the recipient (i.e., such as me) should have the ability to create an automatic customized text message, particularly if the recipient will be away from the office for a certain period of time. Right now, on the Gotoconnect mobile app, there is a text autorespond feature for only incoming phone calls. Which makes no sense to have it since anyone who calls can get a voicemail message.
Create a direct message to more than one recipient without having to create a new team chat
It would be helpful if we were able to create and send direct chat messages to more than one internal recipient under the "Direct Chats" section instead of having to create a new Team Chat to send a message to more than one internal recipient. Our team uses the Team Chats for specific purposes but sometimes a message needs to be sent to two or three people outside of a Team Chat. It seems silly to have to create an entirely new Team Chat instead of being able to create a new Direct Chat with 2 or 3 people.
Larger MMS picture file size
Currently the system is limited to 1 Mb image files which is often very difficult to easily send without editing the picture. Please increase the file size to at least 1.5 Mb to be competitive with other providers and easier to use this feature with the mobile app. The total size is 2 Mb for a text but only 1 Mb for an image within that text. Thank you!
Branded Caller ID/ Rich Call Data support
Could GoTo Connect please implement "Branded caller ID" by way of Rich call data? https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-sipcore-callinfo-rcd-05.html This would allow clients to add their logo/other information to their outgoing caller ID to provide more context/distinguish their calls from spammers/illegitimate sources.
Mark a read text message to unread for future reply
I would love to have the ability to unread a read text for future reply. After I read the text message I have to write the phone number down so I could get back to the sender. The sample text message isn't long enough to see the entire message. Thanks
