MacOS: A keychain cannot be found to store....
Hi Lately, I've been having a lot of issues with LMI rescue unattended access and MacOS. I am receiving a window stating a "Keychain not Found" with the error: A keychain cannot be found to store "1:424688513186:ios:HexidecimalNumber_FIRAPP_DEFAULT" This occurs on Mac's that have previously had unattended access installed, on new installs and on clean installs of 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15 & 11.4. Resetting the keychain to default does not resolve the issue. Clicking on the cancel button results in another window being shown with the same error. Clicking on cancel again closes both the windows. I can log in as normal by either closing the error windows, or ignoring them.Solved52KViews0likes4CommentsCan't match resolution
LogMeIn had me download an update before using the login client recently and since then I have been unable to use the match screen resolution feature. Work monitor is 1920x1080, home monitor is 1680x1050 (it was an old spare that was laying around because my 1920x1080 died, have been using it this way for 3 months now)... It worked fine up until the update the other day, now when I click match resolution it bounces between the 2 resolutions and then returns to 1920x1080 which is squished and very small of a view on the 1680x1050. It won't allow me to select it manually, it just bounces again as if I click "Match resolution". There is also a lag trail of the mouse pointer now too that didn't exist previously.Solved18KViews1like11CommentsDifficulty controlling client's OS X Catalina
Hello, When I remote control a customer's mac running macOS Catalina, I can see background, top bar and LMIrescue window but I can't see all other windows on Mac. In June, before the last macOS Catalina update , your article How-can-I-remote-control-a-customer-s-Mac-running-macOS-Catalinaworked well for Catalina. But now, when I go into Systeme Preferences > Security & privacy > all LMIrescue are checked in Accessibility/ Full disk Access/ Screen recording but it doesn’t work. The customer cannot uncheck to recheck Lmirescue. The only thing possible is in Accessibility > "+" > Download > select Supportlogmeinrescue > Open and there I can move the mouse, click everywhere but I still do not see the windows as if Screen Recording does not work. Same thing after restart the Mac, customer's account is in Admin. We use Lmirescue in my company, latest version of the technicians console on MAC and Windows, it works for remote control on windows and MAC before Catalina. It’s hard for us not to be able to take control on Catalina. Do you know the case and have a solution? Thanks for your assistanceSolved18KViews1like28CommentsYour session may have timed out or the host may have gone offline
The error occurs after opening the dashboard of the remote host using the logmein client software, then trying a remote connection from the dashboard. The remote host says it is in session however when trying to remote I receive the error "Your session may have timed out or the host may have gone offline. Please try again." and offers Reconnect or Close options. The reconnect button causes the same error. It appears to be a problem when first accessing the dashboard. After speaking with phone support they recommend restarting the remote machine, which can't be done until the client is back on site, defeating the purpose of having remote access. I have had this same issue with multiple remote hosts, running different operating systems. Any other solutions? Besides switching remote software providers.Solved16KViews1like26CommentsWhy can't I share my camera on macOS Catalina?
I'm running macOS Catalina (10.15.3) andI'm not able to share my camera during a GoToWebinar session. In Security & Privacy preferences, Privacy tab, GoToMeeting isn't listed in camera settings panel. I've alreadytried a re-install of the GoToMeeting application. Since upgrading my Mac to MacOS Big Sur I am unable to interact with it via the LogMeIn Client (both MacOS and iOS versions of the client are affected) as it no longer accepts mouse clicks or keyboard input. I've already tried the trick of unchecking/checking the client app in the Security/Accessibility settings app, that did not have any effect. Is Big Sur not yet supported by LogMeIn?Solved12KViews0likes21CommentsConnection Refused. Another remote control client is connected from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
I have a computer that will not let me connect. Based on the login details, the connection is being refused because I have another remote client connected. We occasionally use team viewer as a customer of our vendor to allow our vendor to support us and we use logmein for our customers to have remote access. I had been connecting to the logmein remote fine and tried to use the teamviewer and it gave me a message saying we didn't have an account and the connection would drop out in 5 minutes. It drop out in more like 5 seconds and I have not been able to logmein since. I suspect the teamviewer is blocking it somehow. I do not have a remote connection from the IP address in the error message and I confirmed it is my address. I even tried logmein remote of another computer at another customer location so the IP would be different and used that computer to try and remote to the problem machine and still got the same message. I had someone restart the machine. At this point I am locked out of my own remote connection and my customer needs help.Solved12KViews1like5CommentsChanging Powerpoint slides while using the annotation tools

SinceWindows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.17713.1002 (rs5_release) was installed, Rescue Console will try to start, then immediately close and give me the crash screen. I send the report to Logmein. I rolled it back to the previous version and it works fine... But you know Win10, it will NOT let you stay with the previous version for more than 7 days... So I updated every driver, made sure the software was updated...Figured it was the best I could do before letting it update to the latest Win10 Insider Preview again, but after I did... It stopped working. We also have GotoAssist and that works just fine, it's just LogMeIn Rescue Console. So, I installed it on another PC and it works fine on there also, UNTILWindows 10 Insider Preview 10.0.17713.1002 (rs5_release) gets installed. So while, yes, I can roll it back and get it to work, it'll only be a short time until this release is pushed out to everyone and will be a major issue. Has anyone else ran into this, or have ideas? I've submitted it to LMI and Microsoft, but no response from either.Solved9.4KViews0likes15Comments
