Larger MMS picture file size
Currently the system is limited to 1 Mb image files which is often very difficult to easily send without editing the picture. Please increase the file size to at least 1.5 Mb to be competitive with other providers and easier to use this feature with the mobile app. The total size is 2 Mb for a text but only 1 Mb for an image within that text. Thank you!
Branded Caller ID/ Rich Call Data support
Could GoTo Connect please implement "Branded caller ID" by way of Rich call data? https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-sipcore-callinfo-rcd-05.html This would allow clients to add their logo/other information to their outgoing caller ID to provide more context/distinguish their calls from spammers/illegitimate sources.
Search Engine on Texting
It would be wonderful to have a Search Engine on the texting app. We find that we have to type in the entire customer cell number and hit a period in order to just pull up a previous text, so we can review information. We need to be able to search without having to bump the messages. That way we don't have to bother the customer.
Mark a read text message to unread for future reply
I would love to have the ability to unread a read text for future reply. After I read the text message I have to write the phone number down so I could get back to the sender. Hello, 2 years ago I lost a customer as they needed a feature that allowed for the system to call out to a service tech afterhours to let them know there was a voicemail left. I brought it up to GoTo to possibly add this feature. A lot of times the call needs to be made to wake up the person on call. Voicemail to email isn't a good solution for these situations. Well, now this month there are 2 additional customers that are requesting this feature. I am having to look elsewhere to quote that solution. Is this a feature that GoTo can add to their timeline. Here are the specific functions it would be nice to be able to do: Be about to choose the outbound number from the DIDs on the account that shows up when the voicemail notification and have a cascading schedule that can be customized as to how many minutes before each voicemail notification, and how many attempts are made before going to the second in line, 3rd in line etc. A specific example of what a customer needs is as follows: The system will make an outbound call to the first person in line that is on call. If the call is missed it will try every 15 minutes for 1 hour. After that, the system will call the second persons cell phone in line that is the back up on call every 15 minutes for an hour. After that the system will call the 3rd person in line every 15 minutes for an hour And the last stop it rings on the 4th cell phone over and over again until the voicemail is checked or deleted. Text Message Templates
I’d love to see GoTo Connect add a feature that allows users to create and save SMS text templates for frequently used messages. This would save time and improve efficiency by eliminating the need to retype common responses (e.g., “What are your store hours?” or “Here is our website”). Ooma Office had this feature, and it was extremely convenient. Adding SMS templates to GoTo Connect would make it even more user-friendly and valuable for businesses that communicate frequently via text.
