Connect to User Session vs Console Session
TL;DR Unattended access doesn't work if the user you want to monitor/interact with is connected to the unattended PC via RDP. LogMeIn Central has an option after connecting to a remote computer via the "Terminal" dropdown box shown below: Using this dropdown, you can choose either the "Console" terminal session or the "User" terminal session. This is especially useful if the user you are trying to connect with is already connected via RDP and you need to interact with their session to help them with something or install something under their user profile (our users do not have local admin rights).58Views0likes1CommentRemote Execution Step Collection Editing
Currently in GTR, once the step collection has been created, the only option is to delete it, it can not be modified after creation. In order to edit a collection, you must start a new job, add the collection, make your edits, save it as something similar to the existing collection, then run it on one or more assets, for it to save. Then you must go back into Manage step collections and delete the existing collection. The only work around I have found, to be able to save using the current step collection name, is to open GTR in another browser. Create new job, add existing step collection, then go into other browser window and delete the original Step Collection. Then you can save the new collection with the existing name. This could all be prevented it there was an ability to edit step collections under "Manage Step Collections"1.8KViews3likes10CommentsRemove countdown on connect and disconnect
Not sure what the purpose of this is. When the count down ends it just resets - its an extra step with no purpose when connecting and disconnecting? Please explain if i am missing it otherwise i would like to see it removed. Thanks, Ken26Views3likes6CommentsPaste as Keystrokes
It would be incredibly helpful to be able to copy/paste complex passwords at the user login screen(s). Currently we're unable to copy a password (from our password management program) and paste it into the password field because Window's doesn't allow that. In many remote support programs I've worked with, the option exists to paste your (host) clipboard to the remote (client) machine as keystrokes.39Views1like1CommentReduce inactivity time when connected to a PC from 30 minutes to 15 minutes
“We need to make sure when you are done with the machine you are connected to that you End Session. If the session is not ended, then your account will stay connected, and the status will in "In Session" and no one else will be able to connect without your permission. It will stay in the status for about 20-30 minutes because it will automatically disconnect you”18Views1like0CommentsUnattended access in stall on MacOS using intune
As the title states i cannot seem to get Unattended access deployed via Intune to our MacOS machines. I followed the below Documentation and seems to error out each time in Intune stating "This file type is not supported" which Intune says it is which i am using the PKG file. Anyone run into the same issue or have any ideas? https://support.logmein.com/resolve/help/logmein-resolve-unattended-pkg-deployment-in-intune-microsoft-endpoint-manager45Views0likes3Comments
