Best practices for reinstall/repair of client?
Is there a preferred method for either reinstalling or repairing the resolve client? I see there is no way to do a repair of the installation via Windows Settings - Installed Apps, but I also just recently installed over an existing install on another machine and it duplicated it in the database, so I had to do cleanup for that with copying down inventory item data, removing that and the associated device, re-syncing, and then manually adding back the inventory data. Is there an easy way of doing this when the client decides to stop working? In this case, I believe the client may have been trying to update and it failed, as the service can no longer find the executable.33Views0likes2CommentsMS Teams - Cannot close ticket from Teams
I am trying to set up MS Teams integration and am most of the way there. I have setup both the IT-Help team for end users and an IT-Triage team for our IT folks; however, while we are able to create and comment on tickets, we have no way to close them out (from teams). When I open the GoTo Resolve bot from teams and click on my tickets, all of our tickets appear, and when I click on an individual ticket I am able to see all of the data for that ticket. At this point there is only 1 option available to me "Comments". I see from the training videos and documentation there should also be a "Close Ticket" option, but it doesn't exist for me. My question is, is this an account/permissions issue or perhaps something deeper. Other Info: We are using the "Standard Endpoint Management" tier Our teams accounts are handled by our organization - perhaps this is the restriction?Solved100Views0likes5CommentsZero Trust and Remote Execution
Running into issues with ZT and remote execution of some daily scripts on all of the workstations. I receive an "Invalid Signature Key" error, and the script fails to run. It is one of the pre-made scripts in the script library. Now if I run it manually, it runs just fine, but on a schedule, it just fails. Ideas?44Views0likes1CommentWindows Event Log Alert Not Working
Hi. I had tried different ways to make this Windows Event Log to work but had been unsuccessful. I have added the Windows Event Log Alert to the Server Policy, Log Category: Application Event DEtail: Information Event Source: Active Disk Image Event ID: 1 Keyword in log message: Processing And still does not see the event log. I had work with other RMM tools in the past and they do the alert. Are I am missing something? Here is the event log in XLM: -System Provider Name=Active Disk Image EventID Qualifiers=16384 / 1 Level:4 Task:0 Keywords:0x80000000000000 TimeCreated SystemTime="2025-06-16T23:44:59.257546100Z" EventRecordID: 58572 Channel: Application Computer****** Security -EventData Processing task 'Backup System Reserved (1:), Local Disk (C:)', file: 1d0228b6-95ee-43f6-932f-30116e30161b.dit. Whenever a user is submitting a ticket and tries to send the path of a file/folder location, the backslashes are removed from the path. Z:\Folder\subfolder\file.docx Will show up in the ticket as Z:Foldersubfolderfile.docx I assume the text of the ticket is being escaped. It is frustrating when the paths are long and I need to reference multiple locations. Is there a setting I can change? Thank you for your help!Solved67Views0likes5CommentsDevice list and inventory list link
Hi, Found out about an issue: I had device hostname SMA00388 . Then agent was removed and Windows was reinstalled on the device, therefore it was deleted from Devices list. Then after configuring a computer again with same hostname and adding it to devices all seems fine, but the link between Devices and Invetory items is deactivated I saw i can activate it again on inventory item with that Then the link button starts working again and i can click it But it sends me to the link below, which then says that there is no device like that And when i manually go to the device with that hostname and look at the link in the browser - it looks abosolutely differently. So a question how to enable a link with added again device? And if it is not possible what is even the point of "activating link" again button?133Views0likes4CommentsFailing to install goto endpoint antivirus
