macOS Sequoia 15.2 - LMI Run at Boot?
I feel like I have to be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. We got a new 2024 Mac Mini M4, and I'm working on configuring it to function basically the same as our old/existing 2019 iMac (which runs Ventura 13.7). I got LMI installed on the new Mini, I got all the permissions granted, etc. It works fine - but only after one of the Mac user accounts is logged into locally, and not immediately after system boot. Immediately after system boot, my LMI admin portal still shows the Mac Mini as offline (even though I am physically looking at the machine being online). If I walk over to the Mini and log into any of the Mac user accounts, then the Mini immediately shows as online in my LMI admin portal, and I can remote control as normal. If I then log out of all Mac user accounts (but otherwise leave the Mini powered on), it still shows as online in my LMI admin portal, and I can still access it for remote control. But now if I reboot the Mini, after it finishes booting (and I tried waiting a few minutes), it shows as offline and can't be reached. I wasn't expecting the "switch on" button to do anything at this point, and indeed it doesn't seem to. I tried: double-checking all Security & Privacy permissions, and they all seem to be granted. looking through LMI Control Panel to check for any settings seeming to be about boot behavior. uninstalling and reinstalling the LMI host software. checking for and installing all available software updates. checking for any LMI software updates (nope - host already on 13393) comparing /library/launchdaemons to the older iMac - theyseem to match. using nano to examine the plist, runatload is set to true, as is keepalive. comparing /library/launchagents to the older iMac - the names of the plist files which are present seem to match, although when using nano to view their contents, it seems that they are a different format/structure (totally different content). googling and chatgpt'ing for help. I can't seem to find anyone else experiencing this issue. Can anyone recommend anything I might be doing incorrectly? Or is there any chance that Sequoia 15.2 broke something which needs to be fixed now?Solvedetb31 days agoContributor93Views0likes3CommentsOne2Many failures
Hello, My business has used One2Many to some basic software distribution. However many times it fails on every computer for no discernible reason. One day it will fail on a number of computer and another day it successfully completes on those exact same computers. Is there anywhere to get any actual logs, not just a count of how many computers ran and failed (completely useless)? So is there anything that can tell me why its failing? Thank you all.Solveddjamc31 days agoNew Member78Views0likes5CommentsQuestion about Logmein AV
I have installed logmein on a machine and I also have Logmein AV. My doubt is the following. Can I leave the logmein with the service disabled that this does not affect the Logmein AV? They are two separate services. I would like to know the impact of this.SolvedDiegoDash3 months agoActive Contributor44Views0likes1CommentCTRL ALT DEL issue

(EDIT: May have put this in wrong forum. Apologies. Can't find delete button.) Initial stages of troubleshooting, but right now accessing two different servers running LogMeIn: GOOD: Version 4.1.0.15576 (Jul 12 2024) BAD: Version 4.1.0.15702 (Sep 17 2024) Ctrl-Alt-Del works only on 15576, but not on 15702. Basic setup on both, using administrative logins to access them in LogMeIn. Anyone else seeing this?SolvedMarkusSTS4 months agoActive Contributor225Views0likes6CommentsLMI AV - Installation failed!
Hi community! I've got an issue with a brand new PC. Do you know if there is a timing for LMI AV to be supported on Windows 11 24H2? I see in "pricing" it breaks out per number of computers managed. Is there also limit or cost to users/techs that would remote to machines? Case being I have about 10 users that need to remote to a single machine on-site occasionally. Appreciate any info...trying to break free from Teamviewer and their concurrent user licensing. how to adjust idle timeout - when it's greyed out
l have not been able to change this as it's greyed out. I talked to support (worthless) and they suggested I reinstall. To humor them, I did. I cannot adjust this no matter what profile I use. I log in as a local PC admin and I log in as a domain admin, and I cannot adjust this setting. It's under Options\Preferences\Advanced. There is not a group policy either...I checked for that. I even wrote a custom config in my portal and added the PC in question and still no luck. Does anyone here know how to adjust this setting? Thank you.Solvedcrp04996 months agoNew Member271Views0likes1Comment
