Recurring webinar - confirmation mail shows only the first of the series
Hello, I'm kind of a newbie here and am looking for help: I just set up a recurring webinar, the event takes place every two weeks (same time). Unfortunately the confirmation mail only confirms the attendance for the first event. How can customers register for the whole series (7 events)? I want registrees to be able to participate in every event with the same data / the same link. One more thing: the outlook bug (showing only the first event of a series) still exists? I have had a few people on my team watching our live webinars from their mobile device. They have an emoji feature that lets them cast emojis during the live sessions. They reached out to me and asked if I was aware of this. I was not, and I am not able to see these as an organizer. The two members watching from their mobile devices were not able to see the others emojis. Is this a new feature with GTW? If not, why is this available to them if other participants cannot see this? Is there a feature I need to turn on (or off) within the settings for each webinar set up? I just now created an account. When I tried to log in it said username/password wrong. I tried again, same thing. So I clicked on 'forgot password'. There I tried the same password, and it spelled out the password I was trying to use was not long enough. Why doesn't it do that when you first create the account? Earlier today I tried to attend a webinar by BarChart.com. I sent them the following. They said I should submit a note. I saw nowhere to do that at the link they gave: https://support.goto.com/webinar I tried to e-mail a note, could not find an e-mail. Below is the e-mail I sent to BarChart. Some of the problems I think are on GoTo's plate. 2015 MacBook Pro, Majave version 10.14.6 I registered forWebinar ID: 576-879-987 The below is from memory as I don't think I can not recreate situation to check each step per verbatim. A little later than appointed time I tried to join the Webinar, by clicking on 'join webinar' button in registration confirmation e-mail It sent me to a webpage, at the top left was something about going to Webinar with a circle to its left that was spinning The next line said if I wasn't taken to the Webinar I was to download ''GoTo Webinar' I did that, and installed. Immediately something happened on the webpage, then my screen went dark. No key or mouse movement brought the screen back, so I forced a shut down and rebooted. After rebooting there was a new top window, it was about connecting to the webinar, I entered the information requested, mainly webinar ID, that did not work. I went back to the e-mail confirmation about being registered, clicked on the join webinar button again That took me to a webpage that either re-registered me or confirmed my registration (I don't remember) Went back to the confirmation e-mail and clicked on this line: Before joining, be sure tocheck system requirementsto avoid any connection issues. This I believe was a GoTo webpage. It checked off three lines (OS, browser, connection speed), itinferred my system was OK. INCLUDING my browser Safari Tried again going back to confirmation e-mail and clicking 'join webinar' button, againunsuccessful, same thing as before Went back to 'check systemrequirements' and then clicked on 'View system requirements'. There you show only the last three versions of Chrome or Firefox can be used. So I tried Chrome and was able to join webinar, but missed most of it. 1) the check system requirements webpage should not green check your browser if its not OK. 2) you should mention about having to download 'GoTo Webinar' and having to use Chrome or Firefox much earlier in this process of joining the webinar. Hi there, I renewed my subscription today (GoTo Webinar Starter; from Germany). According to the invoice (»Billing Center« --> »Billing History«), my account will be debited promptly. Up to here everything was the same as with the various subscription extensions in recent years. Now I am facing the following problems: I cannot access the dashboard ("We have experienced a breakdown.") and I am directly forwarded to »My Account«. When I open the »Billing Center«, the renewed subscription is marked as "inactive". Short: (1) I cannot open the Dashboard and (2) my currently renewed subscription is marked as "inactive". I tried to login from different devices, networks, and browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). The problems remain. Are there currently any known problems (server work, maintenance work) on the side of GoTo Webinar? Hi, when a lecturer is responding to a question via the question box & then select "Reply to All", all attendees can see the name of the asker & their question. Is there an option to hide the attendees name? It has been suggested that the lecturer copies the question, pastes into the chat function along with the answer & sends to ALL. This isn't ideal given the volume of questions that come in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello community, we had an event with several speakers and many spectators. Some audience members have complained that the error message "The email address you are registering with is already in use" appears and they cannot attend the talk. There is a webinar setting where you can specify that you can only log in 1 time per user. However, we did not use this setting. How does this error occur? I am happy about any hint. Hello, I have realized that when a live session in the agenda for a Virtual Event, The participants are able to see the recording once this one is ready, by clicking on the registration link. (same process as to see the after session video), I have tried to uncheck the options in general settings but that didn't work. I reached customer support and the option to prevent this "after session video" for a VE, is not possible. When you schedule a standard webinar with GOtoWebinar, there is an option to send emails. You can choose 'Confirmation e-mail', 'Reminder e-mail' and 'Follow-up e-mail' . You can edit the text in these emails, but the calendar integration link is automatically added. The problem is, that in the 'Confirmation e-mail', theadd to calendarlink is referring to a Microsoft Outlook mailbox (or maybe the standard e-mail program that the participant has selected ?). Since I use browser apps for my e-mail (a lot of people do!) I did not set-up a standard email program. This is a blocker, and I can't open the link nor add the Webinar in my calendar.... In your Reminder e-mail, there are three links: AddtoCalendar: Outlook®Calendar|Google Calendar™|iCal® This makes it easier to add the webinar to the calendar. We use webinar for lead-generation, so with these missing 'ad to calendar' links in the first confirmation page, we miss leads. I want to use goto and will have about 1800 attending so plan to use webcast. It will be advertised to members of the public so they might use ipads, mobiles or pc's - I wont know in advance. If they join a WEBCAST using a mobile, will they be able to hear/see ok. By default it shows 10 sessions/webinars. I had a customer with a 15 virtual event sessions in one day and it defaults to showing the first 10. I finally figured out if you click the date it allows you to select a longer time period and shows all the sessions. It looks like it is double counting the registrants and the attendees. It did not seem to be pulling accurate data if it double counted registrants and attendees. Hi, We have a recurring issue where some of our webinar delegates have reported that they can't hear our shared videos. In all cases, we've been told the live webinar audio is ok, but some attendees lose the sound as soon as we play the uploaded MP4 video. They can see the recording ok but don't hear any audio. For the majority these recordings play ok, but it's a poor experience for the others. I'd welcome any guidance for how we can prevent this issue happening again. Hello, When we click on the video report the only information that we have is of the people that complete the registration. Unfortunately it does appear report of the people that just click on the link. But we can see the number of those people who have clicked on the registration button, in this case 81, and maybe have not registered in the end. Could we obtain this feature? I am using GoToVirtual Events for one of our upcoming online events. The way I am registering people is through a Pardot connector setup. The registrations are submitted on a Pardot landing page and then the backend connector registers those people to all the sessions in the Virtual Event via completion actions on the registration form. It was observed today that when people fill the Pardot landing page, they show up on all the reports(Pardot and GoTo Virtual Events) but they are not receiving theConfirmation Email which has the link for joining the event. If the registration is done directly on theVirtual Events URL, theConfirmation Email is received immediately. Is this by design OR am I missing a step? I do see the "CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO REGISTRANTS" field as "Send a Confirmation". Unsure now if the people will get all the reminder emails that go out 1 day and 1 hour before the event starts. I have been trying to resolve a billing issue that has resulted in our account being deactivated. Unfortunately, our email system was filtering out billing emails as junk. We have rectified the email issue ensuring future invoice make it to our AP department and have resolved the billing issues. However, we have left numerous voicemails and email with the billing department to have the service reactivated and have not received a single response. We are on week two with no response from billing and tech support and customer cannot assist as they say Billing needs to resolve. Their response is to send you billings email and phone number, but I am not sure how that is a resolution when billing does not respond. How do I get this resolved? Our case number is 17554422. When broadcasting a webinar, once the live speaker starts presenting our pre-recorded video - users can not hear the pre-recorded video. Specifics of situation - It is only happening to one business/agency. Everyone from this agency can not hear the pre-recorded video but they CAN hear the live speaker. I am looking for two solutions. One - I have a custom registration field where the registrant selects a choice from a list of answers. Yet when i look at the registration page, the choices are not in the order they were submitted, but seem to be a random offering. I entered the choices alphabetically and would like them to display alphabetically. Two - I would like the choice to offer a custom registration text instead of a short answer or multiple choice. Registrants have the choice to enter demographic data. We ask for the data so we can determine that we are reaching our target audience. When creating a new webinar by "copying" a previous webinar, most everything updates to the new webinar's information. The exception is the confirmation email subject line that users receive after registering shows the older webinar's title. The subject line should update with the new webinar's title instead. The name of the new webinar in the body is correct though. We have setup Gotowebinar for the past year we have created more than 600 webinars since 2021, awesome tool, ease to use the events teams really enjoy how easy it´s.
