Accept meeting invitations for Apple Calendar

Having problems accepting invitations for GoToMeetings so the organiser knows I can attend. This is happening for a few others all using Apple Macs with Apple calendars. There doesnt seem to be any way to accept the meeting on the email with the Meeting Details, or on the pop up for the Calendar.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Re: Accept meeting invitations for Apple Calendar

Hi there,

You may be having issues with your calendar application if you are able to accept the invite through another interface like Outlook or Gcal.  Have you tested any other calendar apps on your Mac for comparison?

Re: Accept meeting invitations for Apple Calendar

hi AshC

Thanks so much for replying. We only have iCal and Apple Mail and don't use other applications so we cannot test them. Ideally we dont want to have to change the way we work just to get the GoToMeeting invites to work!!

We can receive the emails with all the information for the meeting - and the meeting goes into our calendars, however there is no way to physically Accept the meeting (ie there arent any YES, NO, MAYBE, or ACCEPT/DECLINE buttons on the email or calendar entry), so the guy organising the meetings is getting frustrated as he doesnt know who can attend!

We werent sure if it was a setting in GoToMeeting that wasnt working?

Thanks

Re: Accept meeting invitations for Apple Calendar

I'm afraid accepting or declining a calendar invites or appointments is not something GoToMeeting is in control of --- only the basic .ics file functions themselves.
