Chat box broken Google Chrome/Chromium

I am using Chromium (70.0.3538.110) 64-bit on Linux (but even same version of Google Chrome is having the same issue). The problem is that whenever I send or recieve a message in the chat, the chat window ends up completely blank (see attached file). As you can see no conversation is displayed in the chat, and the input box has also disappeared so the chat functioanlity is not usable for me. I am using no add-ons in the browser.gtm broken.png

Re: Chat box broken Google Chrome/Chromium

Hi @jsadm712,

I have not been able to recreate this issue on my Xubuntu laptop, are you seeing this happen in every meeting you attend?

@GlennD yeah it happens on every meeting. I does not matter whether I am the organizer or not.

Re: Chat box broken Google Chrome/Chromium

This provides some hints

TL;DR; unsetting the TZ variable fixed the problem for me
